in the night she “poached”(word learned from last time posting this on Reddit) the egg in a frying pan, the eggs stay in the water, she add sugar (sugar less sugar, sweet white powder for diabetes) in the water. After we got up from bed she fed those to my step dad

Overnight egg sugar water soup are words that have probably never been put together in the history of mankind before.

I’m so confused by all those words you just strung together to make that sentence. Because I refuse to believe that you just told us she made sugary poached eggs

Lukewarm overnight aspartame eggs? This is an assassination attempt.

I don’t think this is relatively close to fitting food safety standards.

i want to believe there is a reason why she does it this way, like is there some health benefit we all don’t know about?

I found out by accident that slow cooked eggs fried first on high temperature for just 10-20 seconds, then put lid and put the eggs on minimum heat, for like 30 minutes, actually is quite good. Soft and gooey yolk, almost exact same consistency all the way through

but fucking overnight, in syrup water, wtf

Some questions in no particular order

    1. Your step dad actually ate this?
    2. Is this something she’s cooked before?
    3. How the fuck did she come up with this?
    4. Why in water?
    5. Why sweeten eggs?
    6. What the ever loving fuck?

  16. AdMurky3039

Eggs, sugar, and water are really the only ingredients? Did your stepfather request this or did your mom invent it?

Hey! Some older people in my culture actually do crack eggs into sweet boiled water and drink it as breakfast. I never heard of overnight though

  26. cottonycloud

If she stirred the egg yolk up and put it in a steamer, that would be a decent Chinese steamed egg lol.

After your first breakdown: ” is there a history of mental illness in your family?”

    “No, not at all.”

  28. PuttingFishOnJupiter

None of this makes any kind of sense. I don’t… Um.

    What even is this?

This is like food poisoning with extra…I don’t even know.

Please stop this from happening again.

    It’s all…wrong.

“Overnight” and “eggs” are 2 words that should never be used together.
